Best Performing SoC of 2019: Snapdragon 855 Plus
Although Snapdragon 855 Plus doesn’t have a built-in 5G baseband, it is still without doubt the best SoC of 2019 in terms of performance, and still occupies the most positions of Antutu top 10 performance ranking list so far.
Best Technology Innovation SoC of 2019: Huawei Kirin 990/ Samsung Exynos 980/ Snapdragon 765G/ MediaTek Dimensity 1000L
The year 2019 is the first year for 5G, and 5G SoC emerges in time. The major 5G SoCs that are commercially available in smartphones on the market in 2019 include Huawei Kirin 990 5G, Samsung Exynos 980, Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 and MediaTek 1000L.
Among them, the Kirin 990 5G is positioned as a flagship 5G SoC and is the only 5G SoC with such positioning so far. The other three are positioned as mid-range SoCs. In particular, Samsung Exynos 980’s performance is on par with Snapdragon 765G while the MediaTek Dimensity 1000L’s performance is closer to flagship products.
Best Value for Money SoC of 2019: HiSilicon Kirin 810/MediaTek Helio G90T
Although 5G era has already arrived, 4G smartphones are still worth buying before 5G network is widely used.
Antutu thinks that Kirin 810 and Helio G90T are the two most cost-effective SoCs of 2019.
Both the two SoCs are positioned as mid-range 5G SoCs and use Cortex-A76 CPU architecture. Smartphones powered by these two SoCs are good options for users who do not play heavy games as they are good value for money and enough for daily usage.
