In particular, end products powered by Snapdragon 835 mobile platform startedto enter the market one after another. In April, iPhone 7 Plus continued to take the top of the performanceranking, while iPhone 7 dropped to the fourth position. Samsung’s new flagshipmodels Samsung Galaxy S8+ and Galaxy S8 overtook iPhone 7and OnePlus 3T to takethe second and third positions respectively with outstanding performance.

As usual, in our April issue of theglobal top 10 performance smartphones, apart from the overall performanceranking list as measured by average Antutu score which includes bothAndroid smartphones and iOS smartphones, we also included separate lists basedon different operating systems. First let’s have a look at the iOSlist.

Overall, the iOSperformance rankings showed little fluctuations in April compared to ourprevious results, therefore we won't go into too much detail aboutit. Next, let’s have a look at the Android list.

From the Androidlist, we can see that Samsung Galaxy S8+ overtook OnePlus 3T to become the bestperformance Android phone of April, followed closely by Galaxy S8 with narrowgap. As a result, OnePlus 3T which has long been on the top spot of the Androidlist dropped to the third position.

Samsung GalaxyS8+ (SM-G955F) and Galaxy S8 (SM-G950F) are both powered by Samsung Exynos9 Series (8895), paired with Mali-G71 MP20 GPU, which laid strong hardware foundationfor the excellent performance of the two models.

Others on thetop 10 list were LeEco Le Pro3, OnePlus 3, LeEco Le Max2, ZTE Axon 7, ASUSZenFone 3, Moto Z and Xiaomi Mi 5s. As for Xiaomi Mi 6, it hasn’t entered theglobal market yet apart from the Chinese market, therefore it didn’t appear onthe list.
