Top 10 Best Performance Smartphones, January 2017
The first lunar month of the Chinese New Year is coming to an end. During the Chinese New Year holiday, most mobile phone manufacturers didn’t arrange new product launch events, and are gearing up for releasing new products in Spring. Today AnTuTu reveals our Top 10 Performance Smartphones of January 2017. What’s new in the performance ranking list of January? Come and check with us.
1.Score: all the scores in the lists are average scores, not the highest ones (the actual running results may fluctuate, which is a normal phenomenon).
2.Period of data statistics: from January 1, 2017 to January 31,2017
3.Data amount: at least 2000 data samples for a single model.
In January, iPhone 7 Plus continue to top the list with an average Antutu score of 185,494, followed by iPhone 7 with an average Antutu score of 175,455. The iPhone 7 series of products have been claiming the top two positions of the list with absolute advantages ever since their releases, and are not likely to be surpassed in a short time.
The above chart is the overall performance ranking list of January as measured by the average Antutu score, and includes both Android smartphones and iOS smartphones. We also included separate lists based on different operating systems to help you better understand the list. First let’s have a look at the iOS list.
Since the updating frequency of iOS devices and Apple processors is slow, the overall ranking of the iOS list showed little fluctuations, and therefore we won't go into too much detail about it. Next, let’s have a look at the Android list.
OnePlus 3T was the best performance Android smartphone of 2016 and it successfully kept the record in the first month of 2017 with an average Antutu score of 163,352. This model is powered by the powerful Snapdragon 821 processor with CPU clock speed of up to 2.35 GHz, paired with Adreno 530 GPU, and offers two alternative memory combination of 6GB RAM/64GB internal storage and 6 GB RAM/128 GB internal storage.
The Android list showed little change compared with the list of the Top 10 Performance Android smartphones of 2016. There were only minor changes of the rankings of some models due to the fluctuations of their average Antutu scores, such as LeEco pro 3, Smartisan M1 series, OnePlus 3, Xiaomi 5s series and vivo Xplay6, which still stand on the top positions of the Android list due to their strong performance.
As a newcomer to the Android list, ZUK Edge ranked third with an average Antutu score of 156,202. This model was released in December, but because the number of ZUK Edge scores reported to the Antutu server didn’t reach the statistical requirement at that time, it was included in the list of January. ZUK Edge is powered by Snapdragon 821 processor with CPU clock speed of up to 2.35 GHz, paired with Adreno 530 GPU, and offers two alternative memory combination of 4 GB RAM/64 GB internal storage and 6 GB RAM/64 GB internal storage.
The above data reflects the changes of smartphone performance for January 2017. For more information about the ranking list, please download AnTuTu Benchmark and check in the menu of “Ranking” or subscribe Cony Ann’s WeChat AnTuTu Benchmark, and check in the menu of “Antutu score query”.
