As March approaches, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 begins to dominate the Android flagship market. February's AnTuTu Android performance list is also finally confirmed.

Please note that the rankings in the list are based on data from AnTuTu Benchmark V9. The models on the list must have a minimum of 1,000 valid scores, the scores on the list are average scores, the configuration is the highest scoring configuration of the same model, and the data were collected from February 1 to February 28, 2023.

No.1: Red Magic 8 Pro+
Average score: 1,304,238

The Red Magic 8 Pro+ is the most design-oriented phone in the last two years, with an impressive straight screen + no cutout for the front camera + ultra-narrow bezel design. However, the downside of the no-cutout design is that the imaging of the front camera is relatively not that good.
As a gaming phone, the Red Magic 8 Pro+ has a great advantage in terms of running score, ranking first on the AnTuTu list with an average score of 1.3 million. The built-in fan is very helpful in boosting performance. If users are planning to purchase this phone, the first choice would be the regular black version, although the Deuterium Transparent version looks cooler, you can see the dust inside the air duct.
The "image enhanced" version of the phone, the Nubia Z50 Ultra, has also been released in the Chinese market. The Nubia Z50 Ultra is a highly anticipated device with an impeccable screen, image and performance.

No.2: vivo X90 Pro+
Average score: 1,280,652

The vivo X90 series is an excellent product from vivo for the high-end phone market. The vivo X90 Pro+ comes with Sony's 1-inch sensor IMX989, Carl Zeiss lens and Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. The only thing that might be considered a drawback is its weight and thickness.

No.3: iQOO 11
Average score: 1,271,052

The iQOO 11 Pro comes in a classic design. It is also equipped with vivo's self-developed V2 image chip for an impressive image effect.
The iQOO 11 is equipped with the latest Snapdragon 8Gen2 processor and the highest configuration combination is 16GB+512GB.
In fourth to sixth place are three devices from the recently released Samsung S23 series. Contrary to everyone's expectations, the Snapdragon 8 Gen2 with an ultra-high frequency did not score very high, probably because the Samsung phones did not fully show its performance, which can also be seen from the performance of the Samsung S23 series in high-load games such as the Genshin Impact.
Seven of the top ten phones are equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen2, the new generation of flagship chips Snapdragon 8 Gen2 gradually became the mainstream of the market. The gap between the Dimensity 9200 and the Snapdragon 8 Gen2 is still very obvious, hopefully MediaTek can occupy more market share in the second half of the year.

No.1: iQOO Neo7

Average score: 854,527

The iQOO Neo7 released in the Chinese market is equipped with the Dimensity 9000+, while the iQOO Neo7 in the global market is equipped with the Dimensity 8200. iQOO 8200 is the ultra-high frequency version of the Dimensity 8100, the performance improvement is limited, but the price is relatively cheap. The price of the iQOO Neo7 is not much more expensive than the model with the Dimensity 8100, the design and texture are also very good, the overall cost performance is very high.

No.2: Mi 12T

Average score: 819,293

Mi 12T is a series launched by Xiaomi in the second half of 2022 for the global market, including Mi 12T and Mi 12T Pro. The Mi 12T offers excellent performance for a phone in its price range, and with its excellent sound quality and screen, the overall competitiveness is very high. But here we need to remind you that the performance improvement of Dimensity 8100 Ultra is very limited compared to the ordinary Dimensity 8100, and the parameters of both are basically the same.

No.3: realme GT Neo3

Average score: 810,845

In third place is the realme GT Neo 3, which focuses on the youth market, it has a very trendy design and many co-branded models such as Naruto.

The powerful performance of realme GT Neo 3 comes from its combination of Dimensity 8100 chip + LPDDR5 memory + UFS 3.1 flash memory. In addition, the realme GT Neo 3 is equipped with dual stereo speakers and X-axis Linear Motor for a better sound experience.

The most impressive feature of the realme GT Neo 3 is the 150W charging power, a charging system that is much bolder than Apple and Samsung. The realme GT Neo 5 is now available in China, with 240W charging speed and a low-frequency version of the Snapdragon 8+ processor.

No.1: Nothing Phone 1

Average score: 567,387

No.2: realme GT Master

Average score: 544,652

No.3: Poco X5 Pro

Average score: 543,048

The ranking of mid-range phones remains unchanged. Phones with Snapdragon 7 series chips are still in the top positions, while the phone with MediaTek Dimensity 1080 is only in tenth place. MediaTek is rumored to be bringing another new processor. Hopefully, it will replace the Snapdragon 778G and also give users more options.

That's it for the global Android phone performance rankings for February 2023. Although many manufacturers have started to use Snapdragon 8+ as a sub-flagship processor in their new phones, we still position it as a flagship processor, which is the reason why many new Snapdragon 8+ powered phones don't appear in the AnTuTu sub-flagship phone list.
