During the first half of 2017, many new flagship models have emerged in the mobile market, such as Samsung Galaxy S8, Xiaomi Mi 6 and Sony Xperia XZ Premium etc. Although iPhone 8 has not been released yet, Apple has already surprised us with its new iPad Pro which is powered by the powerful A10X Fusion SoC.
Today Antutu reveals our benchmark results for the best performance smartphones of June. Which smartphones will break into the top 10? Come and check with us.
1.Score: average scores, not the highest scores (the actual running results may fluctuate, which is a normal phenomenon).
2.Period of data statistics: June 1, 2017 to June 30, 2017.
3.Data amount: at least 1000 data samples for a single model.
According to our most updated ranking list in June, OnePlus 5 won the first place with an average Antutu score of 181,194, followed closely by HTCU11 with an average Antutu score of 180,100. As the annual flagship model of OnePlus, OnePlus 5 is powered by Snapdragon 835 mobile platform, paired with Adreno 540 GPU, and offers two alternative memory combinations of 6GB RAM/64GB internal storage and 8 GB RAM/128 GB internal storage. The hardware configuration of this model has reached high-end level of the moment, which laid solid hardware foundation for its strong performance.
Samsung Galaxy S8+(G955F) and Samsung Galaxy S8 (G950F), which are both powered by Exynos 8895 processor ranked third and fourth respectively with narrow gap. Surprisingly, iPhone 7 Plus and iPhone 7 were both squeezed out of the top 5 positions.
As usual, apart from the overall performance ranking list as measured by the average Antutu score, which included both Android smartphones and iOS smartphones, we also included separate lists based on different operating systems to help you better understand the list. First let’s have a look at the iOS list.
From the iOS list, we can see that the 10.5-inch iPad Pro overtook iPhone 7 Plus with absolute advantage to become the best performance iOS device of June.
Same with the 12.9-inch iPad Pro, the 10.5-inch iPad Pro is powered by the brand-new powerful Apple A10X Fusion SoC, which brings excellent performance for the new iPad Pro with an average Antutu score of over 220,000, the highest average Antutu score ever for iOS devices. (note: because the number of 12.9-inch iPad Pro scores reported to the Antutu server didn’t reach the statistical requirement of 1000, the 12.9-inch iPad Pro didn’t appear on the list).
With regard to the Android list, OnePlus 5 surpassed HTC U11 to become the best performance Android phone of June.
Meanwhile, the Exynos 8895-powered Galaxy S8|S8+ (note：G950Fand G955F）and Snapdragon 835-powered Galaxy S8|S8+ (note: G9550 and G950U) also appeared on the list. In particular, the rankings of the Exynos 8895-powered Galaxy S8|S8+ are higher than those of the Snapdragon 835-powered Galaxy S8|S8+.
Other high-performance smartphones in June also include Mi 6, Sony Xperia XZ Premium, OnePlus 3T and LeEco Le Pro 3.
Generally speaking, with more and more Snapdragon 835-powered smartphones hitting the market, Antutu performance ranking list has had the earth-shaking change. Just as we speculated earlier, Snapdragon 835-powered smartphones are gradually replacing the top positions of Snapdragon 821/820-powered smartphones on the top10 ranking list.
