In the past April, many new models emerged in the mobile market, including many high-end models. In particular, end products powered by Snapdragon 835 mobile platform started to enter the market one after another. How Antutu performance ranking results have changed with the emergence of these new models? Today Antutu reveals our benchmark results for the global 10 best performance smartphones of April. Statistical rules:

1.Score: average scores, not the highest scores (the actual running results may fluctuate, which is a normal phenomenon).

2.Period of data statistics: April 1, 2017 to April 30, 2017

3.Data amount: at least 1000 data samples for a single model.

Global Top 10 Performance Smartphones, April 2017

In April, iPhone 7 Plus continued to take the top of the performance ranking, while iPhone 7 dropped to the fourth position. Samsung’s new flagship models Samsung Galaxy S8+ and Galaxy S8 overtook iPhone 7and OnePlus 3T to take the second and third positions respectively with outstanding performance.

As usual, in our April issue of the global top 10 performance smartphones, apart from the overall performance ranking list as measured by average Antutu score which includes both Android smartphones and iOS smartphones, we also included separate lists based on different operating systems. First let’s have a look at the iOS list.

Overall, the iOS performance rankings showed little fluctuations in April compared to our previous results, therefore we won't go into too much detail about it. Next, let’s have a look at the Android list.

From the Android list, we can see that Samsung Galaxy S8+ overtook OnePlus 3T to become the best performance Android phone of April, followed closely by Galaxy S8 with narrow gap. As a result, OnePlus 3T which has long been on the top spot of the Android list dropped to the third position.

Samsung Galaxy S8+ (SM-G955F) and Galaxy S8 (SM-G950F) are both powered by Samsung Exynos 9 Series (8895), paired with Mali-G71 MP20 GPU, which laid strong hardware foundation for the excellent performance of the two models.

Others on the top 10 list were LeEco Le Pro3, OnePlus 3, LeEco Le Max2, ZTE Axon 7, ASUS ZenFone 3, Moto Z and Xiaomi Mi 5s. As for Xiaomi Mi 6, it hasn’t entered the global market yet apart from the Chinese market, therefore it didn’t appear on the list.
