NVIDIA, Intel on AnTuTu V5.0(Beta)

We need to put before we begin to talk about NVIDIA and Intel. For now, the hottest Tegra K1 of NVIDIA, Z3XXX processors of Intel are only applied on the tablet platform. Our comparison should on the basic of same chips on smartphone. So this report is only for chips of NVIDIA and Intel .

NVIDIA tegra3 is not a new chip in these days but still has its advantage in GPU part on V5.0. Of course NVIDIA has its weakness in CPU.After Antutu this update, its score raised from 8290 to 10698,with total score 37912. If we see snapdragon 800(V5：38164) at the same time, the score on tegra3 has not changed too much. That also means NVIDIA, which is weighting GPU part, does not gain too much benefit on the V5.0 update. However, it is said that the Antutu score of K1 is over 50K,which is really amazing score. 

Whatever, NVIDIA performance is definitely never to be worried about. What it should pay more attention is how to solve baseband, power consumption and heating problem.

Intel 

Sorry that we could not find proper device for Intel earlier chip testing. We do the testing on the classic Z2580 and wish it can provide some useful information for your reference.

In Antutu V5.0, PowerVR SGX 544 MP2 @ 533 MHz 3D in the Z2580 solution, gets a raised score, which contributes 10% increased of total score.

As two giants in X86 Platform, NVIDIA and Intel do not hold the initiative in the competition of mobile platform. Heating and base band problems still bring them much trouble in their development. They need to do more in the future to get their initiative back.
